Creech Consulting, Inc. brings a highly qualified individual, Richard Creech PE, PSM, to each project. He is equipped with the over 40 years of engineering, surveying, project management and business planning experience throughout the State of Florida.  He is also a mediator, facilitator, and valued negotiator, having served his clients in mediating challenges with permitting, developer and contractor disputes; facilitating presentations with agencies, community redevelopment areas, and engaging stakeholders in understanding project hurdles.  His expertise, having received a Master’s Degree in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation, is second to none in keeping lines of facilitating communications with the stakeholders and the affected parties whether it includes agencies, impacted parties, or understanding stakeholder’s underlying interests to achieve a mutually satisfying outcome for all concerned.

His knowledge and experience in large commercial and industrial site development, residential and subdivision land development, stormwater management, transportation engineering, traffic engineering, and surveying and mapping will be a benefit in developing trust among the stakeholders during the design development, communicating the outcomes of permitting and final design, and alleviating concerns for the upcoming construction process.

He has served on Carnegie Mellon University’s Board of Trustees and was a founding member of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department’s Advisory Board serving for roughly 18 years helping to guide one of the Nation’s top 10 engineering programs. He continues to serve on the Florida Engineering Society’s Conservation and Environment Committee overseeing the State’s rule making and legislative challenges on subjects such as water resources and the environment on behalf of the Society.  He has also served NEECS as an advisor on development of the Professional Land Surveyors national exam and questions. 

His service to improving the environmental and water resources in Florida was recognized by the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers and American Engineers Council with Engineering Excellence awards in 1998 for his work at East Fork Creek restoration project in Martin County, Florida and, again in 2004 for the Salerno Creek Stormwater Retrofit, also in Martin County, Florida. The firm was also recognized for its transportation expertise on the US #1 widening in Martin County, receiving the Engineering Excellence “Honorable Mention” Award by the same organizations.
